The Marriage Mastery program is the out come of years of learning and practice in the Marriage arena. The programs are designed on scientific, medical and psychological basis using variety of tools, as the Gottman Institute methods and variety of psycho-sexual relationship tools. This program aims at supporting ailing marriages that are prone to divorce, hence reducing the tremendously increased divorce rates in the Arab communities as it is worldwide. The program is designed to suite cultural diversities. The Marriage Mastery program assists couples before starting their marriage journey, by setting the foundation upon which they will ensure starting their marriage with confidence, commitment and trust so as to ensuring the long-lasting, strong and happy marriage they want to have.
For couples before marriage
Pre marriage program
It is the couple’s doorway to start their marriage journey on a solid ground. It is a prophylactic tool that constitute corner stone and foundation while couples are stepping into marriage. The program fits couples whose engagement is traditional or is based on being “In love”. Sessions are one on one (couple) based.
In brief, I help couples to:
Understand myths and truth about marriage
- Get to know one another, using approved tools and questionnaires.
Honor each other and create a marriage that has a meaning, so they can lead their marriage hand in hand EVERAFTER.
How to communicate when having bad emotions or during conflict time, without damaging themselves or their partner.
How to build and maintain trust and commitment after marriage.
Know about all toxic and codependent dynamics that lead to relationship demise or divorce, and how to avoid it.
Realize and understand important aspects related to their sexuality, and how to build and maintain intimate relation after marriage, based on medical, psychological and scientific basis.
Heal from harsh experiences especially in their childhood period (emotional, physical and or sexual abuse), which might fire back on their marriage later on.

Save your marriage program
This program is marriage savior, particularly, for couples who are heading towards divorce. The program helps married couples whose marriage is ailing and are emotionally and/or sexually disengaged. The program has tools that assist couples to communicate with one another in healthy ways especially those whose marriage is characterized by fights and unresolved issues. The program assists couple with history of domestic violence and affairs to rebuild their marriages and regain the power of love.
The program has three phases
Phase one:
assessment, where I dive deep with the couple to reach where they are stuck in their marriage that is not working. I use the Gottman Institute assessment questionnaire model and the psycho sexual relationship questionnaire. The questionnaires are available in Arabic language through the marriage mastery program. Phase two:
Treatment plan is tailored according to the results of the assessment phase. It is based on the Sound Relationship House theory by the Gottman Institute. The treatment plan takes into consideration the couple’s hopes and wishes for their marriage. The treatment plan in general aims at; dealing with past regrettable incidents and present conflicts. The treatment plan helps married people to rebuild friendship/intimacy with positive affect, know how manage conflicts when they occur, and how to create shared meaning and honor one another.
Phase three:
Follow up plan which aims at preventing relapse.
The program is based on The Gottman Institute for Couples therapy tools and all sessions are one on one based (me and the couple)
About me
My name is Nadia AbdAllah Dessouky, married, a mother for three lovely children (two sons and one daughter). Around ten years ago I went through a transformational experience. This experience was an eye opener for me, it made me seeing everything in life differently, mine included. I started with my marriage. It took me and my husband a great deal of dedication and resilience to have a happy marriage despite life challenges. This is where I started enrolling to learn and practice how to have a sustainable marriage. Realizing that happy marriage requires determination and me being the person who loves to help people excel in their lives, I designed the Marriage Mastery program aiming at helping couples excelling in their marriage at any time.
